About

Machghalna is a Lebanon-based social enterprise founded in 2021, specializing in sustainable textile production and upcycling. We transform discarded fabrics and clothing into high-quality, functional products, reducing textile waste while creating economic opportunities for local communities. Our work combines environmental impact with social inclusion. We collaborate with NGOs and institutions to produce items such as blankets for displaced populations, while also developing fashion and maternity lines under our brand Salma Maternity. Machghalna is currently scaling its production capacity and focusing on partnerships with hospitals and large organizations to deliver socially impactful textile solutions at scale. Through innovation, circular design, and community engagement, we aim to redefine the textile industry in Lebanon and beyond.
