Call for Lebanese Companies: Host the Next Generation of Engineering Talent

Berytech’s ICT Knowledge and Innovation Community is launching an expression of interest for Lebanese companies interested in hosting students for internship placements in AI, robotics, and industrial technology.

This opportunity follows the 8th edition of the BMW Group Lebanon Workshop on Vision Intelligence and Robotics Applications, VIRA 2026, which brought together selected Lebanese engineering students, international industry experts, and cross-continental research partnerships. The workshop connected students with advanced topics in logistics automation, autonomous robotics, applied AI, computer vision, quantum computing, and industrial technology.

Through this call, the ICT KIC aims to create local internship pathways for high-achieving students, especially those who are unable to travel abroad, allowing them to gain meaningful professional experience in Lebanon while contributing to the growth of the local technology and industrial sectors.

Why is this relevant for Lebanese companies?

This opportunity gives Lebanese companies direct access to motivated engineering talent trained through an international, industry-oriented program. By hosting interns, companies can support the development of future engineers while benefiting from fresh technical perspectives in AI, robotics, industrial automation, and emerging technologies.

It also allows companies to take part in a growing national effort to retain talent in Lebanon, strengthen links between academia and industry, and contribute to the future of the ICT and industrial innovation sectors.

Scope of the opportunity

Companies are invited to host students for internship placements in areas related to:

  • AI and applied machine learning

  • Robotics and autonomous systems

  • Industrial technology and automation

  • Computer vision and manufacturing applications

  • Embedded systems and smart technologies

  • Logistics innovation and digital transformation

Internship placements should provide students with hands-on experience, exposure to real business or technical challenges, and opportunities to apply their skills in a professional environment.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include Lebanese companies, industries, organizations, and technology-driven businesses interested in hosting student interns.

Companies should be able to provide a structured internship experience, assign a focal point or supervisor, and offer students meaningful exposure to relevant technical or operational work.

Next steps

Interested companies are invited to fill out the expression of interest form and share their internship placement needs.

Berytech’s ICT KIC will review submissions and support the matching process between companies and eligible students.
