The Imminent Language Technology Grant Program, run by the Imminent – Translated Research Center, supports innovative research projects that advance language technology, multilingual communication, and machine translation. The programme is designed to fund cutting‑edge, forward‑looking ideas that reduce language barriers and improve how people and machines understand, generate, and interact through language. Projects are expected to produce tangible research outputs and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the global language technology community.
Why is this relevant for Lebanese universities?
This call provides Lebanese universities with direct access to flexible, innovation‑oriented funding in a fast‑growing research area. It supports applied research and experimentation without heavy administrative requirements or mandatory consortia. The programme offers international visibility through publication and presentation opportunities, making it particularly attractive for research labs seeking global exposure and real‑world impact.
