The Innovation Insights Initiative supports the translation of research-informed perspectives and field experience into accessible insights that help translate ideas into practical innovation outcomes across Lebanon. 

Selected contributions will be published on the Lebanon Innovate Portal and recognized during the programme closing event. 

Who should apply? 

• Faculty Members
• Researchers
• Applied research teams
• Innovation programme leaders
• Practitioners affiliated with participating universities

Objectives:

• Make specialized expertise more accessible and usable.
• Strengthen knowledge exchange across the innovation ecosystem
• Highlight applied innovation experience and lessons learned
• Support collaboration between academia, industry and innovation actors
• Help translate ideas into practical innovation outcomes

Accepted Content Types:

• Applied Insight Article: Analytical pieces translating research findings or professional experience into practical insights relevant to innovation actors.
• Innovation Case Study: Structured analysis of a real initiative, project, program, or innovation journey, focusing on lessons learned and practical implications.
• Ecosystem mapping or Sector Analysis: Insight into a specific innovation sector, stakeholder landscape, opportunity area or systemic challenge.
• Policy or Practive Note: Applied recommendations derived from research, implementation experience, or institutional practice. 

Selection process: 

Selection is based on relevant, practical value, clarity, and contribution to ecosystem learning. 

• Submissions are first reviewed at institutional level by Technology Transfer Offices
• Each university may nominate up to 2 contributions
• Selected contributions undergo editorial validation based on a selection grid before publication
• Final recognition takes place during the programme closing event

Voucher and Recognition:

Selected contributors will receive:

• Publication on the Lebanon Innovate Portal
• National ecosystem visibility
• An Innovation Insight Voucher (500 € per contributor) awarded during the closing event

• Prepare your contribution according to the content guidelines
• Submit your draft through the Lebanon Innovate Portal
• Your university's Technology Transfer Office will coordinate the review and selection process
• Selected contributions will proceed to national editorial validation
